The Asia-Pacific Law Institute (Director Prof. Jong-ik Chon) held the 80th Asia-Pacific Law Forum on December 1st, 2025 (Monday), at the Institute's Seminar Room, 15-1, Seoul National University. The forum was moderated by Prof. WU Ying-Chieh and Prof. Boris Babic gave a presentation on the topic of “Machine Personhood ". This was followed by the designated discussion by Professor Gunwoo Kim, Head of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at GIST (Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology). Prof. WU Ying-Chieh, Prof. Sangchul Park, Prof. Doohyun Kong, Prof. Gunwoo Kim and students from law school participated in the forum and held a discussion and Q&A session.
