The Asia Pacific Law Institute (Prof. Seongwook Heo, Director), in collaboration with the KLEA (Korea Law & Economics Association) and the Judicial Policy Research Institute, held the 2024 Summer Conference of the KLEA under the theme “Environment and Technology Policy: Convergent Discussions on Change, Innovation, and Law and Institutions.” on July 12 (Friday) , 2024, in Room 201, 15-1, Seoul National University School of Law. Prof. Seongwook Heo, President of the KLEA and Director of the Asia Pacific Law Institute, delivered an opening speech, Justice Hyung-Nam Park, President of the Judicial Policy Research Institute, delivered a welcome speech, and Prof. Yun-Chien Chang, Cornell University, delivered a keynote speech. The conference was divided into two sessions, “Environment and AI” and “Energy” and the presentations were followed by lively discussions on climate, AI technology, and energy.
