The Asia Pacific Law Institute (Prof. Seongwook Heo, Director) held a conference entitled "The 4th Asia Pacific Private Law Conference" on July 8 (Monday) and 9 (Tuesday), 2024, in Room 203, 15-1, Seoul National University School of Law. Prof. WU Ying-Chieh of Seoul National University School of Law moderated the entire conference, which began with welcoming remarks by Prof. Jaemin Lee, Dean of Seoul National University School of Law, and Prof. Seongwook Heo, Vice Dean of the Institute (as well as the Director of the Asia Pacific Law Institute), followed by a keynote speech by Supreme Court Justice YoungJoon Kwon. The conference was attended by professors from various universities including SNU, Cornell University, Chuo University, CINCINNATI University, CityU, HKU, NUS, Oxford, Renmin University, and SMU, and was divided into several sessions to discuss various fields of law, including civil, commercial, and economic law. Finally, the conference was successfully concluded with a closing speech by Prof. Joon Hyug Chung, Deputy Director of the Asia Pacific Law Institute.
