On Saturday, July 6, 2024, the Asia Pacific Law Institute (Prof. Seongwook Heo , Director), together with the Korea-China Society of Law, held a conference entitled "New Changes in Chinese Law: Latest Legislative Trends and Major Revisions" at Seoam Hall, 6th Floor, Building 17, Seoul National University School of Law. The conference was held in a hybrid online and offline format. At the opening ceremony, Prof. Seongwook Heo (Director of the Asia-Pacific Law Institute) and Prof. Youngjin Jung (President of the Korea-China Society of Law) delivered greetings. At the conference, presentations were made on the contents of Chinese legislative law, administrative law, criminal law, criminal procedure law, company law, civil procedure law, intellectual property law, and laws related to ecological environment, followed by lively discussions on the comparison of Korean and Chinese laws. Finally, Prof. Guangwen Jiang gave the closing remarks and the conference was successfully concluded.
