On Wednesday, September 20, the Asia-Pacific Law Institute (Director Prof. Seongwook Heo ) held a "UNCITRAL Asia Pacific Day" event in collaboration with the UNCITRAL Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific in Room 204 of the Woocheon Law Building to introduce students to the importance of UNCITRAL's work and to share the experiences of professors who have participated in UNCITRAL Working Groups. The event was moderated by Professor Guangwen Jiang , followed by an opening speech by Deputy Director Kye Joung Lee , an overview of UNCITRAL by Athita Komindr, Director of UNCITRAL RCAP, and a presentation on the UNCITRAL Code on E-Commerce by Hangyeol Kim. Prof. Jaemin Lee then explained the ongoing discussions on International Legislation in Action - UNCITRAL legal instruments for the new global business landscape, and concluded the UNCITRAL Asia Pacific Day event with an introduction and encouragement of the internship program.
