On Thursday, November 7th, the Asia-Pacific Law Institute (Director Prof. Seongwook Heo ) held a "UNCITRAL Asia Pacific Day" event in collaboration with the UNCITRAL Regional Center for Asia and the Pacific(RCAP) in Room 204 of the Woocheon Law Building to introduce students to the importance of UNCITRAL's work and to share the experiences of professors who have participated in UNCITRAL Working Groups. The event was moderated by Prof. Guangwen Jiang, followed by an opening speech by Director Prof. Seongwook Heo, a general introduction given by Sion GIL, Legal Specialist of UNCITRAL RCAP, and Athita Komindr, Director of UNCITRAL RCAP introduced the Transparency Code. Jae Sung Park, Prosecutor of the International Legal Affairs Policy Division of the Ministry of Justice, gave a presentation on the practical application of the UNCITRAL Code, and Elaine Ng, Legal Specialist of UNCITRAL RCAP, introduced the internship program and encouraged students to apply for. Director Prof. Seongwook Heo, Prof. Guangwen Jiang, Prof. WU Ying-Chieh, Prof. Jong Hyeok Lee, and students from Law School and College of Humanities participated in the event and held a discussion along with Q&A session.
