This presentation examines the topics of generative AI, agency, and legal personhood. We will explore how the law should address generative AI systems, drawing particularly on the history of corporate personhood. Our goal is to incorporate both philosophy of action, agency, and a technical understanding of what generative AI models can and cannot do. We focus on health law as a case study but the topic is otherwise general and cross industry relevant.
